Expectations & Precautions

I am meeting and exceeding practice recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

The Following rules will be applied here at MASSAGE4HEALTH2DAY:

  • A Face mask may be utilized by myself and is optional at this time (in most cases) for the patient.
  • Following stringent sanitation protocols between each client. Use of EPA-certified disinfectants on all surfaces, doorknobs, chairs, etc.
  • Changing linens between each client. Using gloves where practical.
  • Staggered client appointments (one person at a time-at least an hour space).
  • A well ventilated environment. Filtered Air. Opening of windows is possible. Ionic Air Purifier which has shown to capture and kill airborne viruses, bacteria, germs, and allergens.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

  • If you have had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100°F or above? If you now, or have recently had, any respiratory or flu symptoms, sore throat, or shortness of breath? If you have you been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has coronavirus-type symptoms? If yes to any of these, then please reschedule (without penalty).
  • Your Temperature will be checked prior to the session.

In A Typical Session, you would:

*First you fill out contact information and health history form.

*Discuss specific needs or goals of the treatment.

*The Massage Therapist will leave the room while you undress and lie under the sheet and blanket on a massage table (there is no undressing for foot reflexology).

*The treatment will commence.

*For a massage treatment, Half way through you will turn over on the table with the assistance of the Massage Therapist.

*Upon the end of the session, the Massage Therapist will leave the room for you to redress.

*Observations are shared by the Massage Therapist and a treatment plan is formulated for future sessions.

*You may schedule your next session at this time for best availability.

*Be sure to drink a few glasses of water throughout the day after you treatment to flush toxins from the body.
